Michele Todd, vocals
Michele Todd’s love of jazz began as a singer in the Collin College Jazz Choir, where she had the honor of traveling to Switzerland to perform in the Montreux Jazz Festival. She has performed with the T.I. Stage Band, the Richland College Jazz Ensemble, the Plano Community Band, and Josh Groban. She spent the last 14 years singing with the Phares Corder Jazz Orchestra and is currently a member of the Vocal Jazz Connection.
Mike Springer, piano
Mike Springer maintains an active schedule as a pianist, teacher, composer/arranger, and adjudicator. As a pianist, Mike enjoys playing both classical and jazz, maintains an award-winning studio, and enjoys adjudicating various piano and composition contests. Mike currently writes for Alfred Music, as a composer and arranger of piano literature. Find out more about Mike here.
Andrew Goins, bass
Andrew Goins is a bass teacher and freelance bassist in the DFW area. With over 20 years of teaching experience in both the orchestra classroom and private studio, Andrew enjoys playing in a variety of orchestras, jazz ensembles, musical pits, and other ensembles. He regularly performs with the Dallas Winds, and can be heard on the Grammy nominated recording Asphalt Cocktail. Andrew has accompanied Bobby McFerrin, Itzhak Perlman, and Christopher Martin, among others. Find out more about Andrew here.
Kyle Jenkins, drums
Kyle Jenkins received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of North Texas in 1998. Since then, he has performed in a variety of musical settings ranging from Jazz to Classical to Contemporary Praise. He has performed with the Irving and Plano Symphonies, as well as the Denton and Flower Mound Community Orchestras. He has also performed in many local theatre productions. Kyle has performed with Jazz greats Marvin Stamm, Clark Terry, Randy Brecker, Frank Mantooth, and Peter Erskine
